Lost Tribe Sound
First time I listened to this, I was driving along the outskirts of town on a long stretch of highway. To one side of me was clear blue skies, to the other was a brown wall of desert, a mile high, moving towards me at 60 miles an hour. Racing the storm, watching large chunks of landscape and debris get tossed around in front of me as if performing some strange and menacing dance...this music was its intense center, its conductor of ruin. I cannot imagine a more perfect setting for this album.
